M28 Campus Director

The Mission and Description of the M28 Campus Director is to foster and support the development of new and existing campus ministries within M28 Alliance by
  • Networking existing campus leaders in connections that unite, strengthen and energize vision and action in making disciples through campus ministry
  • Planning and organizing activities and events for M28 campus leaders and students that support M28 campus works in making disciples
  • Developing and making available resources that support M28 campus ministry
  • Assisting the campus leader(s) in navigating campus administration rules and regulations, as well as helping them locate and utilize available resources

Sean Leoni, out of Phoenix, Arizona, has been in this part-time paid role for the past 2 years. Sean is currently in his 10th year of College Ministry, and has been leading a group in Phoenix called The Well. The Well is the official college ministry of our M28 church led by Brandon Pullen & Owen McGeehon called Desert’s End. Sean has planned several events, conferences, and retreats where the team in Phoenix either traveled to another one of our campuses or invited other campuses out to Phoenix to have a shared experience. Sean also has regular calls setup with the different campus leaders within M28 and hosts a monthly call for anyone interested in Campus Ministry. Over the years, he has compiled several resources that he has made available to others. Lastly, Sean has navigated the administration at his own university (Arizona State University) as well as developed several fundraising strategies.

Sean is excited to continue to help the current campus ministries within M28, and is looking forward to working with any new-emerging ministries by coming alongside them through phone calls, providing resources, and offering encouragement along the way. Over the years, The Well has built a rich discipleship environment where several of its members have been involved with intentional one-on-one discipleship. The Well has also spent a lot of time working on developing its leaders, which has become integral to the non-student part of the church, as many of those student leaders are now leading small groups and other ministries within the church. Over the years, several students have formally joined Desert’s End, after graduation, to the point where more than a third of the church is now made up of college graduates and/or current members of The Well.
